After passing my apprenticeship at 21 and obtaining a City & Guilds Qualification, I found myself following a career as an electrician.
My main interest, however, has always been in small building works and after 14 years of working for a local firm in Cambridge I decided a change in my career was in order!
My original plan was to buy a house and spend six months renovating it and during this time to plan and establish my own business.
Springer Design and Development was set up, named after my trusty companion 'Nutmeg' who 90% of the time is always with me!
Little did I realise at this time how quickly things would take off and not only have I now renovated my house, I now run my own business doing a job I love.
We are located in the village of Burwell on the Cambridgeshire/ Suffolk border.
